Hosted by Graeme Goodings and 891 ABC Adelaide’s Grant Cameron, the festival’s purpose is to promote men’s health and well-being, and celebrate men’s contribution to our community. A wide range of health services and community groups will be attending and they will be complemented by fun activities and a quality entertainment program that includes the following artists:
- The Borderers – high energy Celtic Music
- Supernova – funky, electrifying & eclectic dance music
- Warren Milera & The Roughcuts – captivating original country/soul
- Turn Up The Heat – Capoeira (Brazilian Martial Arts)
- Studio Flamenco – exhilarating, passionate Spanish dance & music
- Afrikeeco – Ghanaian Hi-Life & traditional African drumming
- Act Your Age – Eclectric Rock ‘n’ Roll sounds
- Billy Hyde Raiders Drum Corps
The day will create a fun event for families and individuals of all ages to celebrate men in the community. Free Health Screening Checks for men will be available.
891 ABC Adelaide Weekends Program will be broadcasting LIVE. Apart from the Life. Be In It recreational program activities, there will be face painting and other fun activities for children. A highlight for many will be the ‘Wallis Theatre Gold Pass – Fling A Thong’ challenge, World Taekwondo demonstrations, Classic Cars display, Art exhibition, Rock Wall climbing, and the giant puppets! as they meet up with the ‘Larger than Life’ creations by students and young people. Celebrate the Man Alive! Award Finalists! FREE Admission!!!
